Place Jacques-Cartier Market

Place Jacques-Cartier Market

This Marché de Quartier is located in the heart of Place Jacques-Cartier in Old Montréal. In winter, it opens in sugar shack mode, from December to April. As well as maple products, you can enjoy maple hot cider, maple hot chocolate, maple waffles and the inevitable maple taffy on snow. Everything is homemade by Magali Thibault Gobeil, who has been running the kiosk since 2001. In summer, you'll find a host of fresh products, including maple products, products from the Les frères d'ail family farm, fruit, fresh juices, smoothies, vegetable juices, homemade ice cream and plants. The only place in Montreal where you can find maple taffy on snow all year round!
