Tuna, Apple, Spicy Mayonnaise and Sprout Tartare

For a romantic dinner for two, an evening out with friends or a solo meal that will make everyone jealous, here's a simple recipe for tuna tartare created by La Fille du 3ème!
Ingredients
Tartare
- 300 g fresh tuna, skinless, cut into small cubes
- ½ green onion, minced
- 2 tbsp. coriander, minced
- ½ apple cut into small cubes (your choice of type of apple)
- 2 tbsp. mayonnaise
- ½ tsp. Sriracha or Tabasco sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sprouts (alfalfa, radish, carrot or other), quantity your choice
Toasted bread
- ½ baguette, sliced thinly
- Olive oil to brush over bread slices
Preparation
- Combine all the tartare ingredients (except for the sprouts) in a bowl, and mix well together. Set aside.
- Turn the oven on to broil. Brush the slices of bread with olive oil, then toast them in the oven for 1 to 2 minutes on each side. Set aside.
- Use a round pastry cutter to shape the tartare. Sprinkle the sprouts over each portion.
- Enjoy your tartare!
