Apple, Cherry and Maple Bircher Muesli

Ingredients

  • 400 mL (1 ½ cup) rolled oats
  • 375 mL (1 ½ cup) apple juice
  • 2 apples
  • 500 mL (2 cups) Balkan-style vanilla-flavoured yogurt, or sweetened to taste
  • 300 mL (1 1/4 cup) pitted cherries
  • 60 mL (1/4 cup) pumpkin seeds
  • 80 mL (1/4 cup) maple syrup

Preparation

  1. Pour the apple juice over the rolled oats and set aside for one hour.
  2. Grate the apples and fold them into the rolled oats and apple juice.
  3. Top with yogurt, cherries and pumpkin seeds and drizzle with maple syrup.
