Raspberry and Basil Jam

Ingredients
- 500 mL fresh raspberries (2 cups)
- 125 mL sugar (1/2 cup)
- Zest of 1/2 lemon
- 15 mL lemon juice (1 tbsp.)
- 5 basil leaves, finely chopped
Preparation
- Bring all the ingredients to boil in a pot.
- Boil for 10 minutes until the mixture starts to gel slightly.
- After 10 minutes, turn off the heat and add the basil. Blend with a hand blender until fairly smooth.
- Pour into a sterilized 250 mL jar.
